Bicycle Coffee in Oakland is, without a doubt, one of my top choices for cold brew! I'm a regular at their Broadway spot and love to swing by their booth at the farmers market. Every visit has been an awesome experience! Their cold brew is hands down one of the finest I've ever tasted, and it's the only brew I grab when I'm there. I'm also all about their merch especially that cold brew tote bag, it's such a fun take on the classic cool-aid vibe! Their range of goodies, including caps and tees it really adds to the eclectic charm of the place. If you're in search of quality coffee served in a laid-back, inviting atmosphere, (Jack London) look no further than Bicycle Coffee!

Strong coffee but good gave me a headache and kept me up all night. Not a fan of the mocha or the cbd coffee taste wise but the coffee is strong.

I came back here (finally) and their latte with macadamia milk is delicious! I got it iced this time and it was so good! The service was super quick this time and huge bonus, I forgot that this is the most reasonably priced latte, probably, in all of California! This is now officially my go to for when I'm in the office!

Enjoyed a lovely stroll down to try Bicycle Coffee for the first time today on my lunch break. I redeemed a free drink token received from a Bike to Anywhere Day bag. The barista made me a delicious half caff vanilla iced latte and had other recommendations for low caffeine options. Will definitely be back!

The coffee is solid and a local favorite. It's not third-wave coffee though - so don't expect single-origin offerings, cortados, latte art, and fruity/complex espresso. This is a second-wave coffee shop, and although, I was slightly disappointed to find out they didn't serve cortados - I realized, hey this ain't SF, you're in ~Oakland~. I loved the vibe of this place. I think the news tends to extrapolate how sketch and dangerous Oakland is, but there's some really great, walkable parts. This coffee shop location is one of them. In this coffee shop, you'll see lots of hipsters in their mid-thirties coming from a work out class or morning run/ride, dressed in eclectic but stylish gorp-fashion. There's not much seating inside. Maybe a few tables for parties of two. There's a couple tables outside too, but it's close to some shipping bays - and parking looked difficult around here. The lattes are great, if you like dark, nutty espresso. I thought they steamed the milk quite well here too. 5/5 stars

Bicycle Coffee finally moved across the street to their bigger location. I love it. I don't know why, but the coffee taste better over there too. I've been going to BC for about two years now. I only found it because I was walking down second on my way to Starbucks and the smell caught my attention. The woman walked past me (from the warehouse location) and all I spelled was chai. I asked her what she had and she told me a Dirty Chai Latte. Since then, this has been my go-to weekend spot for coffee. I order a Dirty Chai Latte with Oat Milk. I've had it both hot and cold and I honestly think they make it best hot. Last weekend I tried their food for the first time. I got a sausage burrito warmed. It was good, but something was missing. They should offer hot sauce or something to go with it. Nevertheless, some things to consider... 1. The line is long, but it moves pretty fast. Don't let it deter you. 2. The food from the fridge is pretty good. you grab it, pay for it and ask to have it heated if that's what you desire. 3. They don't (it wasn't offered to me at least) have any hot sauce or condiments for their food. It taste a little bland without condiments. 4. The customer service is hit or miss depending on who is working. 5. This coffee shop is electronic payment only. No cash. 6. I paid about $11 for a large coffee and a burrito. - so yes, it can be pricy, but the coffee is really good.

07/02/23 Saturday 10:45am. Came in on the Amtrak a few blocks away, and we had some time to kill before our flight. So we wandered around a bit. Came across this jumping coffee place. The neighborhood was otherwise closed, as it was a lazy Saturday vibe. Staff is outstanding! Had a dirty chai, I appreciate that they didn't give a ton of ice and very little actual drink I am lookin at you Starstrucks. Ordered a couple of Mochi donuts as they were buy one get one. Not super sweet which is a plus. Also ordered a pollo empanada. It came out piping hot! Yes!! Unfortunately it was way way salty. My nephew had ordered the champiñones empanada and it wasn't that salty. I politely asked if they would exchange it for me, this was my before flight meal, and although I could stand to skip a meal. I was looking forward to some real food versus airport slop. The cool guy baking the empanadas was great and swapped out for me. Thanks so much dude!! 5/5 stars for food, atmosphere and service!
